Who We Are
Blessed Aid is a congolese non-governmental organisation holding a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Founded in 2002, Blessed Aid works primarily in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with deep roots in eastern DRC.
For more than two decades, we have worked alongside communities affected by conflict, displacement, poverty and other vulnerabilities, placing dignity, protection, gender equality, community leadership and resilience at the centre of our work.
Our approach combines humanitarian action, community development and peacebuilding while supporting communities to become active agents of their own recovery and development.
